You don’t do Pilates to get better at Pilates.  You do Pilates to get better at everything else you do.

 

Pilates is something I’ve been doing for my own physical and mental wellbeing for years.  Now I’ve add it to the list of options I offer to individuals and corporations – and I’m very excited about being able to do so.

Why Pilates?

Joseph Pilates started his career in the United States working with boxers in New York City.  Strong, heavily muscled, and prone to injuries, these athletes quickly became devotees of the Pilates method because it prevented them from being injured in the ring.

Because he shared space with George Balanchine and Martha Graham of the NY City Ballet, he also worked with dancers.
